How To Use MARSHINE Fiber Optic Connector Cleaning Pen?
A Look at the Connector End Face
Before you clean:
Visually examine the connector with a fiber inspection scope.
Check for dust, oil, or other particles.
Cleaning is also advisable even when contamination cannot be seen with the naked eye.
Remove the Protective Cap
Remove the dust cap from:
Fiber optic connector inner sleeve.

Insert the Cleaning Pen
Slowly guide the cleaning pen tip in using a slight pressure: (Do not twist the pen)
Fiber optic adaptor, or directly on to the connector end face.
Be sure to align correctly as failure to do so could result in damage.
Press to Clean
Push the cleaning pen straight in until a “click” sound is heard:
