So How Can I Use The MARSHINE High-Altitude Safety Fall Arrestor Propperly?
Connect to the Safety Harness
Attach your MARSHINE High-Altitude Safety Fall Arrestor Self-Locking Device to:
The dorsal (back) D-ring of the safety harness;
Make sure:
The carabiner or hook is closed completely;
The safety latch is engaged;
Attach to the Lifeline
Attach the device to a vertical lifeline or a security line:
Check for proper orientation(in line with the arrow mark);
Ensure the movement is smooth;
You should be able to go up or down slowly, the device moving freely.
Test the Locking Mechanism
Before climbing:
Pull the device firmly downwards;
Verify it locks immediately;
Remove it from service if it is not locking correctly.
Begin Climbing or Working
while moving:
Keep the lifeline vertical and taut;
Don’t suddenly jerk it.
Never disconnect when you are up there;
Under normal activity, the device will move fairly smoothly upwards as you move along the top rope or the fixed line.
