Cut the cable to the desired length

Cut the coaxial cable with a cable cutter.

Make sure the end of cable is straight.

Do not flatten or distort the cable as you cut it.

A nice and clean cut will help you to strip more accurately and easily.

Place the cable into the stripping slot

Put the end of the coaxial cable in the stripping slot.

Insert the cable until the proper depth.
