What Is MARSHINE OPGW Mounting Rollers?
The MARSHINE OPGW Cable Mounting Rollers Fiber Cable Mount Pulley MAR-026RBTV2 is a must have product for Optical Ground wire (OPGW) cable installation and stringing. This pulley system is designed to work with the safe and sensitive fiber optic cable, and allow you to easily slide the cable over the line. The MAR-026RBTV2 is designed for high performance and long lasting durability and the Solid Body Construction reduces friction protect the cable during installation.

So How To Properly Use The MARSHINE Fiber Cable Mount Pulley?
Attach the Pulley to a Support Structure
Install the pulley housing: Attach the MARSHINE OPGW Cable Mounting Rollers Fiber Cable Mount Pulley MAR-026RBTV2 to a round or square tube, a tower, or an appropriate arm or bracket. Make sure the building is firm and can hold the pressure of the wire.
Verify that the pulley is properly aligned
Raise the pulley to at least the height of your head and adjust the angle so that the cable fits through properly. It should be flush with all corners, and white no bends or turns that can harm the cable.
Guide the cable
Insert the OPGW cable gently over the pulley, and make sure that it slides without any barriers. Make sure that path of the cable is free of dirt, twigs, or any other such thing that can slow its motion.
Check tension
Make sure you check the slippage of the cable, and make sure the tension it not too tight as this leads to risk of damage too to the pulley or the cable.
Prep the cable
Raise the fiber cable to the pulley with lifting devices like a cable hoist or winch, and get it in position for going through the pulley.
Bring the cable into the cableway
Guide the cable slowly through the groove of the pulley. Make sure cable is not twisting, kinking or catching on any part of the pulley.
Start stringing
Begin pulling the cable with winches or cable pullers. Do it at a steady, moderate rate so you don't wave load the pulley or the cable.
Check the progress of the cable
As you feed the cable through the pulley, watch it closely to make sure it's running even and that it's not getting caught or tangled.
Adjust if needed
If you notice any resistance, or if the cable seems to be off-center, stop stringing and realign the cable or pulley before continuing.
