What Is MARSHINE Multi-Functional Ratchet Coaxial Cable Crimping Tool?

A ratchet coaxial cable crimping tool is a specialized hand tool used to attach connectors to coaxial cables by compressing the connector sleeve around the cable. The ratchet mechanism ensures the correct amount of pressure is applied, finish the crimping fully before the tool releases, and can remain the connections secure and consistent for a longer time. Reliable coaxial cable connections are essential for the stable signal transmission in television systems, satellite installations, security cameras, and communication networks. Our MARSHINE Multi-Functional Ratchet Coaxial Cable Crimping Pliers are designed to provide precise and consistent crimping for coaxial connectors, so that to ensure the secure and durable cable terminations.

So How To Use The MARSHINE Multi-Functional Ratchet Coaxial Cable Crimping Pliers?

Trim the Coaxial Cable

First, trim the cable.

Use a cable cutter for a clean and straight cut.

Do not crush or deform the cable when cutting.

It is important that you make a clean cut, this will help in the connector installation be done smoothly.

Strip the Cable

Remove the outer insulation next.

Use a coax cable stripper.

Remove the outer jacket and the dielectric according to the connector's specifications.

Remove the center conductor and braided shielding.

Be careful not to cut the inner conductor while stripping.

Prepare the Cable Shield

After you strip the cable:

Bend back the braided shield over the jacket.

Make sure the shielding is distributed evenly.

Keep the center conductor straight and clean. The center conductor should be perfectly straight and free of any contaminants.

The right preparation will ensure the good signal conductivity.

Insert the Connector

Push the coaxial connector on the cable.

Press the connector onto the cable tightly until it snaps into its place.

Make sure the center conductor runs through the tip of the connector.

Verify that the cable jacket is snug fitting in the connector.

This will make sure the connector is to be found properly to before crimping.

Place the Connector in the Crimping Tool

Open the MARSHINE Multi-Functional Ratchet Coaxial Cable Crimping Pliers and:

Put the connector in the right crimping hole.

Make sure the connector sleeve is centered with the crimping jaws.

Hold on to the wire firm as you get up.

Use the right crimp hole (slot) according to the diameter of the connector.

Crimp the connector

Squeeze the handles slowly and evenly.

The ratchet mechanism becomes locked and you cannot open the handles until the crimp is finished.

When the right amount of pressure has been reached, the tool will pop off by itself.

This guarantees a consistently good crimp.

Check out the Connection

After crimping:

Make sure the connector is tight.

Make sure the cable and connector do not move.

Make sure the center conductor is in good position.

If the connector is loose, try again with a new connector.
