What Is MARSHINE MARPT-60 Cable Drum Trailer?
The MARSHINE MARPT-60 Mechanical Lifting Single Axle Cable Drum Trailer is our best seller in cable drum trailer for cable drum transportation and installation. This model is a mechanical Lift type structure and not hydraulic for simplicity and reliability in operation and maintenance. It has three axles and a single pair of wheels per axle. Its single axle design makes this a very agile machine, yet stable enough to work with cables.

So How To Use It?
Preparation Before Use
Prior to use, perform the following inspections and preparations:
Examine the trailer frame: Look for cracks, missing bolts, or frame rust.
Inspect tires and axle: Check tire pressure and condition of the axle.
Check the mechanical hoist Whether gears, winches,jacks,or lifting-arms move easily.
Test the brake system: Make sure the drum brake works properly.
Confirm load rating: Make sure the cable drum size is within the rated lifting and transporting capability.
Set up the worksite: Select stable, level ground for loading and operation.
Loading the Cable Drum
Position the Trailer
Position the trailer on a flat and solid surface.
During the loading, place wheel chocks to hold on wheels.
Raise the Mechanical Supports
Turn the handle to raise the mechanical jacking assembly, our jacking mechanism.
Lift the support arms up to the cable drum shaft height.
Position the Cable Drum
Slide the cable drum start carefully between the support arms.
Make sure the drum is centered for balanced lift.
Insert the Drum Shaft
Run the steel shaft through the center hole of the cable drum.
Fix the shaft on each side of the support arms of your MARSHINE MARPT-60 Mechanical Lifting Single Axle Cable Drum Trailer.
Lift and Secure the Drum
Stable lift and fair positioning of load.
Secure the shaft using retaining pins or retainers to lock the shaft firmly.
Transporting the Trailer
Connect the trailer securely to the towing vehicle.
Attach safety chains and lighting connections if equipped.
Inspect tire condition and hitch stability before transport.
Drive at moderate speed, especially on rough or uneven terrain.
Avoid sudden braking and sharp turns to maintain load stability.
Cable Pay-Out Operation
Upon delivery to the site of installation:
Set up the trailer
Park on level ground and use the wheel chocks.
Line up with the cable path
Park the trailer to run the cable directly into the path of installation.
Modify the brake mechanism
Adjust the brake resistance to slow down the rate of drum rotation.
Start pulling cable
Operate a cable puller, winch or by hand.
Keep a constant pull
Perform a gradual and uniform cable- unwinding at the station during the ribbon unwinding.
Check drum rotation
Look for tangling, uneven payout, or over-speed rotation.
